Our Website and the National Church Golf Cup 2012

Happy New Year. We are looking forward to a great year out on the Golf course with many regional qualifiers and county cups in the early stages of planning for 2012.

We are actively looking for more churches and golfers in churches to organise a cup in their county in 2012. If this interests you please do get in contact with us for more information.

You can also visit our Organisers Area to download our handy organisers guide – this will help you see what’s involved. It’s currently the 2011 guide which will be updated shortly along with the rest of the site. However it will give you an idea for now.

Please bear with us as we update the website for 2012, and do make contact with us to enter a team in your county cup or find out more about being a volunteer organiser.

Other events: TCST Charity Golf Day, Essex 2012

TCST Golf Dayat Bishops Stortford Golf Club, Essex
Monday 12th March 2012

The Christian School, Takeley (TCST) is holding its first ever fundraising golf day on Monday 12th March 2012 at the Bishops Stortford Golf Club. Entry is £40 per player (four ball teams) and includes food afterwards as well as prizes.

Organiser Linda Cole said "We are very fortunate in that the event as secured support from some wonderful sponsors: Elms BMW have sponsored the nearest the pin competition, Gray and Company have sponsored the prize for the best individual and Lyon Cole the longest drive (on the fairway!)."

page on www.tcst.org.uk, pick one up from any branch of Gray and Company, text Linda
Cole on 07931 983000 with the message “Golf Day Form please to......” add an email address
and Linda will email it to you.  If none of these work for you or if you have any questions, please phone Linda on that number.

Provisional Programme (all courses are 18 holes)

Monday | Arrive after lunch for an afternoon round – Fell course.
Tuesday | Mary port – Links course
Wednesday | Optional additional round of golf at Brayton Park, or driving range.
Thursday | Dalston – Parkland course.
Friday | Keswick – Valley course.
   

Every day there will be a ‘thought for the day’ after breakfast, and optional meetings in the evening with guest speaker.
