The National Christian Golf Cup Final 2011 will once again take place at the Donnington Grove and Country Club. Newbury. The National Final on 11th and 12th September 2011 is a two day affair. The competitive golf being played on the Sunday for the prestigious National Christian Golf Cup and the Monday being a day of relaxed social golf in the beautiful surroundings.
The Donnington Grove Estate is set in a delightful and secluded position on the outskirts of Newbury and is overlooked by the historic Donnington Castle. The present house was built by James Pettit Andrews between 1763 and 1772 to designs by John Chute.
As in previous year’s the Christian Golf Society has booked the final as a stay and play package and the CGS Regional events are covering the cost of the regional winners golf, a twin room in the beautiful onsite accommodation, evening meal on the 11th and breakfast on the 12th. Other costs (travel, room extras and supplements, drinks, lunch on arrival if required) need to be met by the individuals.
- All regional winners are asked to confirm their attendance with Martin.
- Where single rooms are requested or golfers wish to bring partners, etc. and increase the booking you will be asked to cover any additional costs incurred above the standard arrangements.
