22 September 2016 Moderator’s Golf Challenge – 4-ball Golf Competition at the Royal Burgess Golf Club, Edinburgh
The current Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Rt Rev Russell Barr, is kindly hosting a golf event at the prestigious Royal Burgess Club in Edinburgh to raise money for CrossReach www.crossreach.org.uk, the Social Care Council of the Church of Scotland.
Registration is at 07.45 prior to a shotgun start. Cost is £270 for a team of 4 players.
What’s included:
- four-ball stroke play competition over 6,511 yard Par 71 course set in beautiful parkland
- open challenge on the three Par 3 holes against one of:
Russell Barr
Bill Lockie (Senior PGA Professional Championship winner 2008)
John McTear (PGA Senior Club Professional Champion 2001)

- bacon roll, tea and coffee on arrival

- prize-giving and auction
All money raised on the day will go towards CrossReach’s care services for children and families, helping some of Scotland’s most vulnerable to thrive and succeed.
