Regional and county wide events

The Christian Golf Society (CGS) has a five-year plan to build up a network of events across the country, with the winners of each event invited to a National Final in the September of each year.

These golf competitions will either be organised directly by the CGS, organised by a committee on our behalf or organised by one of a number of other Christian organisations or churches.

CGS aims to recruit more regions/counties to run their own events as the CGS grows.

We currently have the following regions/counties engaged with the CGS for 2012 (TBC) although it's not too late if you want to organise and event in your County for 2012.

National Christian Golf Cup 

Each year the winners of the regional and county events are invited to attend and take place in the National Christian Golf Cup which takes place in September of each year. This is a two day event with an overnight stay. The first day sees the competition proper, followed by an evening dinner, presentation ceremony and guest speaker. The second day is a more relaxed affair with a friendly round of golf for all attendees, usually including the regional and county organisers as well. 

Previous National Finals have taken place at South Essex Golf & Country Club, Brentwood (2007), Hellidon Lakes Golf & Spa Hotel, Daventry (2008), Donnington Grove Country Club, Newbury (2009, 2010, 2011)
